No added water: organic hydrosols instead of water
In a hair care treatment, the aqueous phase serves as a carrier for the active ingredients: it is usually water. In our treatments, this is replaced by organic hydrosols made from Damask rose, chamomile, and orange blossom: the Shampoo, the Mask, the Exfoliator, and the Night Serum.
The Day Serum, on the other hand, is a dry oil: it contains no water-based component.

What hydrosols offer, treatment by treatment:
The Shampoo: has an acidic pH that is compatible with the cuticle, and is soothing and moisturizing.
The Mask: rehydrates, soothes, and adds shine and softness.
The Exfoliator: moisturizes, soothes, reduces irritation, and supports the microbiome.
The Night Serum: has a physiological pH for scalp comfort.

In many hair care treatments, water makes up the majority of the formula's base. The active ingredients then supplement this base.
Madame d'Alexis has taken the opposite approach: replacing added water with organic hydrosols and then developing each treatment around active ingredients specifically selected for the hair shaft and scalp. Concentrated formulas, designed treatment by treatment.
